- The power of United Way is a result of a community-wide collaboration to help those in need. UWPC relies on hundreds of committed volunteers each year to help solve the most critical issues of our community through various health and human service agencies. Knowledgeable volunteers are also dedicated to ensuring good stewardship of funds. Programming/support is in four priority areas - economic mobility and opportunity, youth success, crisis intervention, and nonprofit capacity development. Because of the generosity of donors throughout the years, thousands of individuals and families' lives have been touched.

Pueblo Library has a variety of resources available to you through your library card! With your library card you can check out physical materials (books) for up to 2 weeks, and they will automatically renew themselves up to 6 times (if no one else has them on hold).
With your library card you also have access to Pueblo Library's digital resources! This includes databases, ebooks, audiobooks, and much more! You will need to have a library card to access digital materials and to access our digital newspaper subscriptions.

Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Colorado
The Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Colorado Chapter is committed to refining and improving the development community. They host a quarterly Lunch and Learn speaker series on a variety of development topics. They are also responsible for the Summit on Philanthropy, an all-day training featuring a national speaker. Both with member and non-member rates. To encourage a broad audience, they host a free monthly mixer that is open to anyone interested in fundraising.
Colorado Nonprofit Association
The Colorado Nonprofit Association believes nonprofits are essential to a better quality of life for those in our community. They connect people and organizations with the resources they need, act as a voice for the nonprofit sector, and promote best practices for nonprofit organizations to follow. They offer roundtable discussions for members on development, human resources, volunteers, and CFOs every month. They also offer workshops on a variety of nonprofit topics, for both members and non-members. Members can have access to their nonprofit help desk and pro bono legal advice. Their website also provides sample policies and forms.
Community Resource Center (CRC America)
Community Resource Center creates opportunities, tools and strategies to develop nonprofits and community groups to strengthen Colorado. They host the Colorado Grants Guide, which PPLD subscribes to, offers workshops on a variety of nonprofit topics across the State of Colorado. They publish a Starting a Nonprofit workbook.

Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)
The Division of Local Government (DLG) oversees Public Facilities. Eligible uses of funds include acquisition, design/engineering, construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation or installation of public improvements or public facilities.

The National Council of Nonprofits (Council of Nonprofits) is a trusted resource and advocate for America’s charitable nonprofits. They identify emerging trends, share proven practices, and promote solutions that benefit charitable nonprofits and the communities they serve. There is a fee for membership. They provide Tools and Resources on a variety of nonprofit topics, from starting a nonprofit to ethics that can be read for free. They offer a blog that does not require membership.
Foundation Center and GuideStar have come together as one organization in order to help change the world by giving people the information they needed to do good.
Foundation Information Network Partners provides a suite of tools and resources consisting of Foundation Directory Online databases, publications, and a variety of supplementary materials and services in areas useful to grantseekers.BoardSource is the premier location for any nonprofit management and board training needs. There is fee to join; it does offer workshops and trainings, with member discounts. In their learning center, they offer community resources that can be downloaded for free, regardless of membership. Topics include board basics, performance, etc. You can also subscribe to their e-newsletter for free.
