These are our cultural beliefs:
Embrace Feedback - I seek feedback to improve my performance and our service.
Celebrate Others - I value and learn from the contributions my co-workers make to the district.
Empower Innovation - I seek and implement solutions.
Engage Customers - I provide quality and uphold equality.
Storypower - I share stories reflective of our desired culture.
What is the WIZ Award?
The Working in the Zone (WIZ) Award recognizes employees who are demonstrating excellence in one of the above areas. The WiZ Award is presented quarterly to between one and five employees.
This recognition program allows library customers and staff to nominate a PCCLD employee who demonstrates the OZ principles, achievement of Key Results and/or our cultural beliefs.
To nominate someone for the WIZ Award, simply submit this form.
Each quarter our Steering Committee will review the nominations and select up to five employees to receive a quarterly award. The employees will receive a prize, recognition in their departments and on PCCLD’s intranet.
